Job Title: Commercial Bid Manager - Healthcare
Location: London (Flexible working)
Job Type: Temp to Perm (9-Month Contract)
Salary: £450 per day
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Bid Manager to lead and coordinate the bid and tendering process for healthcare-related contracts. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an initial 9-month contract, offering the potential for a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing winning bids that align with our business strategy, ensuring high-quality proposals, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full bid lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to submission and post-bid review.
  • Develop and implement bid strategies to maximize success rates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, legal, and operational departments, to produce compelling and compliant bids.
  • Analyze bid requirements and client specifications to tailor responses effectively.
  • Lead storyboarding sessions and content development, ensuring responses are clear, concise, and persuasive.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather relevant information and enhance bid quality.
  • Ensure all bids meet company standards and industry regulations.
  • Manage bid documentation, templates, and libraries to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Track and report bid performance, win rates, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and changes in healthcare procurement regulations.
    Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager or in a similar role within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare procurement processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in bid management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and document automation software.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and pricing strategies is an advantage.
    Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • APMP certification (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience working in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or related industries.
