Applications are invited for the role of Clinical Research Fellow within the Academic Unit, Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences, based in F3, in the Magnetic Resonance and Precision Imaging (MR&PI) Theme of the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (NBRC), Queen’s Medical Centre, University of Nottingham.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the MR&PI team led by Prof Dorothee Auer (NBRC MR&PI theme lead) and Professor Robert Dineen (deputy lead). The MR&PI team undertake research into discovery and translation of new imaging tools to transform non-invasive diagnosis, improve the outcomes for patients, and better evaluate the success of medical interventions across a broad range of disease areas.

We are seeking a highly motivated post-foundation medically-qualified researcher to join MR&PI team to develop their research portfolio and support delivery of our key objectives. Priority areas of research that are available for you to work in include Photon-Counting CT, experimental medicine MRI, AI-radiomics and imaging-guided neuromodulation.

The NBRC is a partnership between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Nottingham funded by National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The mission of the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is to improve the health of people locally, nationally and internationally. This is a full-time (36.25 hours per week) but open to part-time, fixed-term appointment for 12 months, for the earliest start date of the 06 August 2025. Job share arrangements may be considered.
