Founded in 2018, we’ve already grown to be a 200+ team distributed across the globe, united by a singular mission: empowering people to take control of their health.

Numan is transforming health: we’ve built a cutting-edge platform that integrates diagnostics, medication, supplements, digital programmes, and doctor consultations. Giving people the tools they need to maximise life.

To deliver on our transformative mission, we are guided by our 5 company values:

• Patients first.

• Learn Fast.

• Own the quality.

• Succeed together.

• Care deeply.

Backed by top-tier investors, Numan is already having a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of patients here in the UK, and we want you to help us deliver this mission!

The Role

At Numan, we are developing our integrated healthcare platform that helps patients fix what’s wrong today while preventing problems tomorrow. As part of this mission, we are looking for a Clinical Product Lead to join our growing team and help us shape the future of preventative care.

This role is for a clinically trained professional who is passionate about proactive, data-driven health optimisation. You will design and build clinical pathways across key domains such as metabolic health, cardiovascular health, hormonal balance, obesity, and diagnostics, all under our unifying health span philosophy. If you have experience in functional medicine, preventative health, or diagnostics, and are excited to develop meaningful digital healthcare experiences, we want to hear from you.

You'll be:

  • Leading the design of clinical pathways - including clinical logic, data flows, and decision-support mechanisms - to support both automated and clinician-led care.
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams to translate clinical intent into scalable platform features across patient interfaces, clinician tooling, and internal systems.
  • Integrating diagnostics, biomarker testing, and risk stratification tools into care journeys to ensure personalisation and adherence to evidence-based practice.
  • Partnering with governance, safety, and regulatory teams to uphold clinical quality and compliance.
  • Designing operating models for clinical services, including clinician roles, SOPs, training, and escalation pathways to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
  • Contributing to clinical product strategy by aligning clinical objectives with platform capabilities and commercial goals.
  • Horizon scanning for advances in preventative and personalised medicine to shape the clinical roadmap and uncover new partnership or research opportunities.
  • Acting as the clinical voice within a cross-functional team, applying systems thinking and service design to create joined-up, adaptable care experiences.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A clinical background and experience working in regulated healthcare environments.
  • Experience in diagnostics, preventative health, or functional medicine.
  • Familiarity with biomarker testing, longitudinal care models, or personalised medicine.
  • Strategic thinking around long-term health outcomes and early intervention approaches.
  • A passion for using technology to improve health outcomes and deliver safer, more scalable care.
  • Confidence working in cross-functional teams - collaborating with clinicians, engineers, designers, and commercial leads.
  • A systems mindset, thinking beyond individual features to how care is delivered end-to-end.
  • The ability to translate clinical and operational needs into clear product decisions and improvements.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate clinical reasoning and safety principles to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • An iterative approach, balancing clinical rigour with pragmatism in fast-moving environments.

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience integrating diagnostics into digital care pathways (e.g. lab testing, biomarker panels, continuous monitoring, or remote sample collection).
  • Familiarity with care models in metabolic, cardiovascular, hormonal, or obesity-related conditions.
  • Understanding of how clinical pathways are operationalised at scale through logic engines, workflow automation, and structured data models.
  • A systems mindset - someone who sees beyond individual touchpoints to design whole care ecosystems.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with engineers, designers, data scientists, and commercial teams.
