Contract Duration: Minimum of 4 months, with a likelihood of extension

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hourly Rate: Up to £35.00 per hour

Job Description:

Trident healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a locum contract based in Ashford, Kent. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in hospital wards, and preferably with a background in emergency medicines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage patients' medication regimens in hospital wards.
  
  
• Provide expert advice on the use of medications, including emergency medicines.
  
  
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  
  
• Conduct medication reconciliation and ensure accurate patient records.
  
  
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
  
  
• Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication-related issues.
  
  Requirements:
  
  
• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  
  
• Experience in hospital wards is essential; experience in emergency medicines is highly desirable.
  
  
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  
  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
