About the Business Division:
This role is part of ONEHealth Communications, a subsidiary of M3 Inc., which is a specialist Healthcare Communications agency working in partnership with our clients to deliver end-to-end marketing services across three key areas: Media Buying, Creative and Content, and Email. The team currently employs 32 staff. This is supported by Data4NHS, providing one of the largest GDPR-compliant email databases of Healthcare Professionals (HCP) in the UK.
Job Description
Overview
The role is a new position within the existing Commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Director. Approximately 70% of the role will involve sourcing and contacting businesses and brands where ONEHealth currently has no presence to sell our services. The remaining 30% will focus on managing a small portfolio of existing accounts, leading on all commercial aspects including annual tactical planning, and conducting regular meetings with the Media and Account Management teams to maximize opportunities for both ONEHealth and the clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Business understanding: Understand clients’ business sectors, monitor competitors, and gain insights into their needs to identify how ONEHealth can support them.
High level of commercial acumen: Identify client needs and tailor our services accordingly.
Proposal generation: Seek out new business opportunities, especially within white space pharma clients, and lead proposal development with the team.
Lead generation: Use platforms like LinkedIn, attend industry events, and develop new leads.
Closing business: Focus on negotiation and securing deals.
Forecasting: Maintain and update the sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts regularly.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial experience in a healthcare marketing agency or pharmaceutical company, delivering multi-channel digital communication solutions.
Existing network within the pharma/healthcare industry.
Confidence and enthusiasm to present ONEHealth’s offerings to clients.
Proven ability to generate face-to-face meetings with clients.
Proactive attitude and drive for commercial success.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong customer relationship skills with a track record of maintaining client relationships.
Ability to adopt a consultative, needs-based approach to sales and build rapport with stakeholders.
Knowledge of the ABPI code of conduct.
