CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER (CCO) – Clinical Technology
We have a rare opportunity in a global role to lead the Commercial strategy for a prominent player in Life Sciences AI SaaS and tech-enabled services.
Our client is a top player in the field with an already established global client base, and a category-defining AI SaaS proposition that the market is ripe for disruption in. This is your chance to lead growth strategy supporting a business case that projects current revenues to double in the next 2-3 years.
The role involves leading a commercial function, including sales and marketing to drive commercial strategy and expand sales. This evangelist will be taking on an established global team that will need to be elevated and supported through this transformation. This role will be supported by centralised business processes and a proven executive group understanding of the requirements involved for scaling in the pharma tech sector.
Requirements
The CCO will have a proven track record of thriving in high-growth, private equity-backed businesses, with a background in scaling innovative new businesses/solutions across Europe, the US and Asia.
The CCO will have a strong knowledge of the clinical trial market and the customer needs and challenges, and will be able to sell value-added and innovative solutions, educate and influence customers on new solutions and methodologies, and articulate and promote the company's value proposition and brand to internal and external audiences.
The CCO will be a hands-on and yet strategic leader, who is driven and can balance between operational excellence and visionary thinking, develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies, and deliver sales and profitability growth.
The CCO will be a driven fast fast-paced change agent who can drive transformation and innovation in the commercial department and across the organisation, collaborating effectively with the CEO, the executive team, the board, and other stakeholders.
The CCO will be a leader and coach, who can shape and grow the division, building a high-performing, driven and collaborative sales and marketing team, setting goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, coaching, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team.
The CCO will be a proven, charismatic, and credible leader with a strong global contact network in Pharma Sponsors.. The CCO will represent the company in the industry and build strong relationships with key accounts and partners, as well as attend and speak at relevant industry events and conferences.
The CCO will be a motivated and self-driven professional who can work autonomously and remotely, and who can travel extensively as required.
