Title: Site Chemist / Chemistry Graduate - Hazardous Waste
PACKAGE: £26-30K plus Bonus, Pension & Benefits
LOCATION: North side of Birmingham, you might live in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock, Birmingham, Litchfield, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield
DEVELOPMENT: You will be offered full career development and training with long term potential to progress into more senior positions once you have gained experience
ROLE – Site Chemist / Chemistry Graduate - Hazardous Waste
This role is 70% site based so would suit a hands-on person that likes being outdoors. Only around 15% of the job is lab based.
You will work in a hazardous waste management processing yard.
You will undertake testing incoming materials for Ph, flammability and compatibility for bulking, and ensure goods are correctly labelled.
You will complete all relevant paperwork and ensure compliance within Safety, Environmental and Company policy.
EXPERIENCE - Site Chemist / Chemistry Graduate - Hazardous Waste
You will have a Degree in Chemistry, Geochemistry or Biochemistry or be awaiting your results to graduate in the next 2 months.
You must have a UK driving licence
You will demonstrate willingness to work outside and may have interests that demonstrate that e.g. playing outdoor sports
