Calibration Engineer

Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 (DOE)
Location: Co. Kildare, with nationwide travel to customer sites
Job Type: Full-Time

Syntech Recruitment is partnering with our client, a leading provider of calibration services in Ireland, to recruit a Calibration Engineer. Specialising in ISO 17025 calibration, our client supports industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, aerospace, automotive, and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform instrument calibration in accordance with ISO 17025 standards.
Conduct in-house calibration at the laboratory in Co. Kildare.
Travel to customer sites across Ireland for on-site calibration services.
Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure equipment is correctly maintained.
Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
Stay updated on changes in relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements:

Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in calibration, ideally within an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work precisely.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Full, clean driving licence.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Willingness to travel nationwide for on-site work.
