CAD Design Engineer

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing successful business. We are looking for a talented design engineer to join an excellent established team.

This role is primarily focused on product development and process improvement. Working primarily designing steel products for the food processing, pharmaceutical, and life-sciences industries.

This role utilises Solidworks for product design and Revit (Training provided) for Room Layout and Flow Planning.

The Person

We are looking for someone with:

Proven experience in CAD engineering within a manufacturing environment, ideally in stainless steel or metal furniture/products.

High proficiency in SolidWorks, with deep knowledge of Weldments for metal fabrication.

Experience in product development, process improvement, and delivering cost-effective design solutions.

An understanding of hygienic design principles for cleanroom and food/pharma environments.

Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to produce clear, detailed, and production-ready engineering drawings.

This is a site based role in Norwich Norfolk. Occasional travel to customer sites.

Salary and Benefits package – Up to £35,000 a year + Benefits
