Are you an experienced Buyer or Purchasing professional from a manufacturing background? Are you looking for a flexible part-time position within a stable and forward-thinking engineering company?

Established for over 50 years, this world-leading company specialises in the design and manufacture of engineering solutions for clients across industries from Pharmaceutical to Construction. As part of their continued growth and investment into new markets, they are now looking to recruit a Buyer to support their busy procurement function.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for purchasing components, materials, and services to support the engineering and production teams. You'll manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and lead times, and contribute to efficient stock and cost control. You'll also be provided with ongoing training and have the chance to progress within a supportive environment.

This role would therefore suit a Buyer or Purchasing professional looking for a part-time role in a respected company, with long-term development opportunities and flexible working.

The Role:


  • Purchasing of components, materials, and services

  • Supplier negotiations and relationship management

  • Supporting engineering and production teams

  • Flexible part-time working

  • £25,000 - £30,000 (Pro Rata) + Bonus + Training + Progression + Benefits
