Russell Publishing is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team, it is essential for applicants to have experience within a B2B media/ publishing/ events/ marketing solutions environment.


Do you have 3+ years multimedia, digital, print or event sponsorship sales experience?

Responsibilities-


  • Proactively develop new business to expand client base and increase sales
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential new clients through research
  • Gain a sound understanding of the core subject matter and provide insight and market feedback to the wider team
  • Maintaining high levels of scheduled sales calls, visits and client meetings
  • Create bespoke campaign proposals to support clients needs
  • Issuing campaign performance reports to clients
  • Sales prospecting through canvassing of clients across competitive media channels
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers found through prospecting; facilitate and setup meetings via teams or at external conferences and events
  • Ability to research prospects and build a comprehensive sales pipeline
  • Create bespoke campaign proposals to support clients needs


Applicants required a minimum of 3 years experience of business development/ sales within publishing, media, sponsorship, marketing solutions or delegates sales. Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Knowledge and use of CRMs. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) – accuracy and professional. Professional attitude and integrity. Networking and building effective relationships. Time management – punctuality, planning & meeting deadlines. Commercial awareness.


UK and International travel to visit clients and to attend external industry events is required.


Due to the nature of our location, you will require a vehicle to commute to TN16 1NU. All applicants must demonstrate the right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.
