Position Overview

As the Business Development Director for Real World Technology and Data in the EMEA region, you will work within the sales organization to drive and optimize sales across the RWS data and technology portfolio. This includes technologies that transform raw data into insights, such as Privacy Analytics, Patient Data Platforms, Data Licensing, NLP, and OMOP ODHSI.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales targets by engaging with pharmaceutical clients and managing the opportunity pipeline.
  • Develop contacts through external and internal networking to generate leads and facilitate face-to-face meetings.
  • Lead strategic and large opportunities aligned with global plans and financial goals.
  • Coordinate with the Real World Late Phase team and sales specialists to approach customers effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling IQVIA offerings.
  • Build and evolve account strategies based on client ecosystems and maturity.
  • Engage with C-suite and key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Analyze white space for potential growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Provide customer feedback to support the development of new and improved solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with significant healthcare industry experience.
  • Proven success in selling to pharmaceutical or healthcare clients, preferably in Real-World data.
  • Extensive knowledge of Real-World technology offerings and industry trends.
  • Ability to influence senior executives internally and externally.
  • Strong independent working skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-working skills.
  • Deep industry awareness and understanding of healthcare trends.
  • Creative problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
