The Role – Associate Director of Market Access

As Associate Director (Head of Market Access), you will take strategic and commercial ownership of the market access function. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help drive the growth of this service area and elevate the company’s offer to new heights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and delivery of market access and pricing strategies for clients, ensuring successful reimbursement and market uptake
  • Acting as a senior leader and final reviewer on projects, ensuring strategic excellence across deliverables
  • Managing and mentoring teams to foster high performance and career development
  • Engaging directly with clients and external stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making and solution development
  • Contributing to internal process improvements and company-wide initiatives
  • Leading business development efforts and identifying new opportunities for growth

Candidate Profile

Education:

  • Degree or equivalent in life sciences or a relevant technical discipline

Experience & Expertise:

  • Substantial experience in Market Access consultancy and/or within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, payer landscapes, and regulatory environments
  • Proven track record in leading market access programmes and cross-functional projects
  • Experience with financial management, including budgeting and P&L responsibility
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
  • Skilled at managing and mentoring teams, with strong leadership and communication capabilities
