BRAND LEAD / PRODUCT MANAGER - HAEMATOLOGY

What You Will Do

Working directly with the Franchise Lead, Haematology, do you fancy joining the haematology marketing team and picking up Brand Lead responsibilities for Amgen’s strategically important brands within Haematology and rare diseases?

This is unique opportunity for the right candidate as both areas are critical to our UK affiliate and offer the right candidate the opportunity to operate at different stages of a lifecycle, driving significant growth in multiple myeloma whilst maximising early and late stage life cycle management for other products.

Leading the Haematology Cross Functional team/s and alongside Amgen global colleagues you will have responsibility for the development of, and execution of, strategic and tactical brand plans. Further, there are multiple opportunities to be responsible for advancing multiple projects supporting our ‘Must Win Battles’:

  • Lead the strategic and tactical planning process embracing a dynamic and agile mindset
  • Budget responsibility to include forecasting, managing operating expenses and delivering budgeted sales
  • Analysis and interpretation of sales data, KPIs, market research and trends
  • Lead discussions on pricing, reimbursement and access decisions
  • Lead cross-functional brand team activities and provide guidance to others
  • Work closely with the Franchise Lead to align sales force activity and engagement
  • Development, delivery and evaluation of integrated multichannel plan and development of promotional materials across multiple channels

Be part of our team

You would be joining a high performing, dynamic marketing team who work across the portfolio of Oncology and Haematology brands during which you will be working alongside highly skilled marketers within the UK Oncology Business Unit team. You will lead multiple different aspects of the marketing mix, including interactions with customers and insight generation, operational planning and tactical execution.

  • Extensive marketing experience gained within pharmaceutical sector
  • Proven Haematology/Oncology experience
  • Fully fluent in regulatory frameworks and code of practice (ABPI / IPHA)
  • Experience of working with and leading a cross functional team
  • Experience of working with Multi Channel including digital
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence
  • Degree educated in relevant discipline such as Marketing or Business
