Biostatistician II (DMC)

 

The Biostatistician II supports teams of biostatisticians and statistical programmers in creating unblinded reports of confidential clinical trial data for DMCs. We offer structured peer mentoring and technical and management career development opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implements a wide variety of statistical methodologies.
  • Presents statistical reports to DMCs and clients.
  • Assists in the production and review of statistical DMC reports.
  • Translates data analysis plans into specific, written instructions for programmers.
  • Ensures blinding and security of data is maintained, as required by contract, charter, or protocol and in compliance with related SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviewing/writing DMC Charters.
  • Plans and executes project work as specified in client contracts in coordination with the lead statistician.
  • Assists in project documentation.
  • Attends and facilitates project team meetings on a regular basis.
  • Develops and facilitates internal and external presentations, as appropriate.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 1 years’ experience working with clinical trial data in a CRO environment.
  • Expert level knowledge of statistical concepts with working knowledge of medical/scientific terminology
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are required, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must read, write and speak English.
  • Prior DMC experience required.
