Senior Civil Engineer

Bid Manager – Cleanrooms – South Shields UK/Strasbourg France

We are currently Partnering with a High-Growth, Market Leader in the Modular Cleanroom Design for the Biopharmaceutical sector. Demonstrating success across the UK and EMEA, they are currently seeking a Bid Manager to help further develop their growth.

Responsibilities

  • Bid Preparation & Strategy: Develop and manage comprehensive bid proposals for cleanroom construction projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project teams, technical experts, and external consultants to gather essential project information and secure bid approvals.

  • Cost Estimation: Work closely with the estimating team to prepare accurate cost breakdowns, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining project margins.

  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks within the bid and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project feasibility and compliance with industry standards.

  • Documentation & Submission: Ensure timely and accurate submission of all bid documentation, adhering to client deadlines and ensuring compliance with contract terms.

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Estimating or Commercial roles, ideally in the high-tech construction industry such as pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data centre or similar.

  • Cleanroom experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Additional Language skills preferred

    Benefits

    £65,000-£70,000 per annum + Benefits
