We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our client’s team in West Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services. You will oversee and perform complex laboratory tests, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results. You’ll lead a team of scientists, providing mentorship, training, and fostering a collaborative environment. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and implementing new techniques or procedures. Additionally, you’ll maintain strict compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will also involve liaising with clinical staff, offering insights that directly influence patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
• HCPC registration.
• Relevant degree in Biomedical Science.
• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a laboratory setting
• Extensive experience with laboratory equipment, techniques, and troubleshooting
• Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clinical and medical staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work with a commitment to continuous professional development.
