Summary

LYNX are recruiting for a company who have been supporting the Pharmaceutical Industry for over 2 decades!

We are looking for an Automation/ Project Engineer who will get involved with projects assisting in the design, development, testing and implementation.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Client facing carrying out surveys, installations, commissioning, (UK & abroad)

  • Gather information needed to produce design solutions.

  • Provide engineering expertise in discussions with clients, taking part in meetings and site visits.

  • Produce and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD, control revisions and recorded appropriately.

  • Specify and create Bill of Materials to enable purchase orders to be raised.

  • Develop PLC and HMI control software.

  • Involvement in control panel testing and troubleshooting.

  • Involvement in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

  • Collate information to assist with producing installation documentation for clients.

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, installation engineers and specialists to ensure systems and equipment are supplied and installed as per the project requirements.

  • Provide site supervision for contractors and act as point of contact

  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.

  • Strong desire for personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

  • AutoCAD desirable (training can be provided)

  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office packages

  • Proactive and able to use own initiative

  • Flexible approach

  • Attention to detail

  • Full right to work in UK
