Associate Director, Clinical Development - Growing Biotechnology Company - 12-18 month FTC


Planet Pharma is currently working with a growing biotechnology company who is looking for an Associate Director, Clinical Development to join their team on a 12 - 18 month FTC initially, with the option of extending to permanent headcount.


As part of this role, you will play a pivotal role in the clinical development strategy and will work collaboratively with teams in the development of novel therapeutics, contributing to revolutionising autoimmune disease treatment. You will also:

  • Provide scientific support and input into the clinical development strategy
  • Lead the development of clinical trial synopsis, including study objectives, design and endpoints.
  • Lead the development of biomarker strategy and implementation of plans that support early clinical development exploratory endpoints.
  • Contribute to the development and review of regulatory submission documents


This is a great opportunity if you're experienced in the field of immunology and you want to be a part of a growing biotech company who are looking to make a real impact into the treatment for autoimmune diseases.


This position offers hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in Oxford.


For this position, my client is looking for someone who has extensive experience in clinical development, particularly in the field of immunology or autoimmune diseases. You will also have:

  • PhD or MD qualification
  • Experience with clinical design and managing clinical trials, including protocol development
  • Strong experience in immunology
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience interacting with regulatory agencies
