A leading mid-sized accountancy practice in London is seeking anAssistant Managerto join its dynamic and expandingCorporate Bookkeepingteam. The successful candidate will take on a client-facing role with direct responsibility for reviewing complex accounts files and managing a small team.

Role Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing accounting files prepared on CaseWare and junior working papers
  • Reviewing financial statements and disclosures for:
  • Limited Companies (FRS 102 1A and FRS 105)
  • LLPs
  • Partnerships
  • Sole Traders
  • Charities
  • Property/Rental accounts
  • Preparing accounts when required across the above entity types
  • Assisting with technical queries from both internal and outsourced teams
  • Supporting the corporate tax team with client-related queries
  • Providing training and support to junior team members
  • Managing workflow, WIP, and billing within your client portfolio

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • A minimum of 5 years’ accountancy experience within practice
  • Strong technical understanding of FRS 102/FRS 105 and accounts disclosures
  • Proficient in CaseWare and other accounting software
  • Demonstrable experience reviewing accounts and leading client relationships
  • Ability to manage, support and mentor junior staff
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
