Job Title: Asbestos SurveyorLocation: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & WearSalary/Benefits: £25k - £40k + Training & BenefitsDue to recently winning new contracts, our client is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor in the North East of England. They are an independent asbestos consultancy, who ensure to maintain high technical and customer service standards. Their client contracts are nationwide and growing. You will be undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys across Local Authority, Healthcare and Commercial sites. They are offering competitive salaries and packages for successful applicants.Our client can consider candidates based in or around: Newcastle upon Tyne, Hebburn, Whiteley Bay, Cramlington, Blyth, Alnwick, Ashington, Ryton, Blaydon, Prudhoe, Heddon-on-the-Wall, Gateshead, East Boldon, Washington, Sunderland, Consett, Stanley, Chester-le-Street, Houghton le Sprint, Seaham, Durham.Experience / Qualifications:- Must be qualified with the BOHS P402 qualification (or RSPH equivalent)- Will have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a UKAS accredited organisation- Good working-knowledge of UKAS and HSG standards- Able to write detailed survey reports- IT literate- Hardworking attitudeThe Role:- You will be carrying out Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across a mixed portfolio of sites- Conducting re-inspection surveys- Writing accompanying reports, documenting findings in detail- Safely collecting ACM samples from site and delivering to the lab- Representing the company in a professional manner when attending client sites- Travelling as per company requirementsAlternative job titles: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Consultant, Asbestos Assessor, Environmental Consultant.Future Select are the leading market supplier for recruitment in the Asbestos industry; we work with the best clients and candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the asbestos market.
