Job Title: Asbestos Consultant Location: Sevenoaks, Kent Salary/Benefits: £26k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy with a growing presence in the South East of England. They are seeking a proficient Asbestos Consultant, who can bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise. You will be succesfully servicing prestigious client sites, ranging from commercial and local authority to industrial and manufacturing. The company is a well-respected outfit, who can offer attractive further training and development plans. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high aptitude for undertaking the full range of Asbestos Surveys as well as Analytical duties. They are offering excellent salaries and benefits for the successful applicant.

You will be covering contracts across: Sevenoaks, Oxted, Caterham, Redhill, Orpington, Croydon, Bromley, Sidcup, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Rainham, Maidstone, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Epsom, East Grinstead, Crawley, Kingston upon Thames, Sutton, Woking, Ilford, Barking, Rainham, Romford, Chigwell, Hornchurch, Basildon, Wickford.

Experience / Qualifications: - Will have a successful record working undertaking Asbestos Surveys and Analytical duties - Must be qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent) - Strong client-facing skills and comfortable providing an excellent consultancy service to clients - Robust industry knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 & HSG 248 guidelines - Outstanding written and IT proficiency - Professional manner

The Role: - Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos surveys - Undertaking 4 Stage Clearances - Personal, leak, background re-occupation air monitoring - Writing comprehensive reports with a high level of detail, to agreed deadlines - Safely collecting ACM samples - Overseeing the maintenance of compliance across removals projects - Working closely with sub-contractors and removals operatives on projects of varying sizes - Discussing report findings in great depth and answering any technical queries clients may have - Travelling as per company requirements - Upholding company standards and excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues
