Hardware & Panel Assembly Supervisor

Are you passionate about electrical systems and eager to kickstart a hands-on career in engineering? Join our team as an Apprentice Hardware Technician - Level 3 Starter and gain the skills and experience needed to become a competent Hardware Technician.

This apprenticeship offers a structured training program combining practical experience with academic learning.This will include aday release at college for a national qualification course.You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning how to build, wire, and fit electrical control panels and cabinets used in a variety of industrial applications.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

  • Work model:Onsite #LI-Onsite

  • Panel Assembly– Learn to interpret engineering drawings and build electrical control panels used in industrial applications.

  • Wiring and Termination– Master the skills to wire control panels accurately and cleanly.

  • Documentation– Maintain clear and accurate records of assemblies and wiring updates.

  • Collaboration– Work closely with engineers and team members, supporting projects both in-house and on-site.

  • Safety and Compliance– Follow all health and safety procedures during every stage of the build.

Qualifications for the Role

  • A genuine interest in electrical engineering and hands-on work

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude

  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

  • Willingness to support onshore and offshore projects (training provided)

  • Any prior experience with tools or electrical work (e.g., school projects, hobbies)

  • Awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
