Who Will You Work With:

Our client is a key player in the mechanical and biomedical manufacturing industry. You will be part of a highly collaborative engineering team, supporting the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and quality systems in a regulated environment.

About the Role:

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes from end to end. This role demands a hands-on engineering approach, with involvement in process improvement initiatives using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and SPC. You'll also contribute to the implementation of efficient systems to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

This is a 6-month contract based in Leeds, UK, with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Lead or contribute to the establishment of new manufacturing processes.
  • Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements using structured methodologies.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques to solve production issues and improve performance.
  • Use tools like SPC, DOE, and Measurement System Analysis for process control and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and documentation requirements.
