Role Overview
As an

Analytical Lab Equipment Specialist , you will take ownership of the qualification, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical laboratory instruments critical to drug product development and testing. Your role ensures all equipment meets

GMP standards

and operates at peak performance to support analytical teams in delivering accurate and timely results.
Key Responsibilities
Perform calibration, maintenance, and qualification of analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, and dissolution testers.
Troubleshoot and fix equipment problems quickly to keep the lab running smoothly.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance, calibration, and qualification activities.
Work with external vendors for equipment servicing when needed.
Help prepare for audits by ensuring all equipment documentation is up to date.
Train lab staff on proper use and care of analytical equipment.
Essential Criteria
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Proven experience with analytical laboratory equipment used in pharmaceutical testing environments.
Strong understanding of GMP requirements and qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for analytical instruments.
Skilled in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining HPLC, GC, and dissolution systems.
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment.
Desirable Criteria
Experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech analytical laboratory.
Familiarity with computerized calibration and maintenance tracking systems.
Knowledge of chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower) and their interface with lab equipment.
