CK Group are recruiting for an Analytical andDevelopmental Chemist, to join an analytical department within aleading large scale chemical company, at their site based inNorwich, on a full time, permanent basis, for a salary of £38,000 -£40,000 per annum.This company provides world class contractmanufacturing services to global leaders in the agrochemical, fineand speciality chemical sector.Location: Norwich, Norfolk Your mainduties will be:Using wet chemistry techniques to collect andmeasure compliance (against specifications) of raw materials,intermediates, effluent samples and manufactured products.Being theSite Technical Expert in method conception, development andvalidation for new formulation products.Carrying out New ProductDevelopment.Supporting formulations and packing management byresponding to external enquiries.Preparing relevant documentation,preparing and testing lab-scale formulations for customers (bothinternal and external) - technical support.Developing andvalidating new analytical methods.Developing and conductinginternal QC for formulations and packing activities.Acting as aQHSE guardian - safety and environmental regulations. YourBackground:The ideal candidate for this role will have thefollowing skills and experience:Essential:5 years experience in aFormulations and Development role.Significant laboratoryexperience.In-depth GC/HPLC experience.QC analysis.Formulationmethod development and validation - in-depth understanding.Computerliterate, highly organised, self-motivated, flexible,detail-oriented.Team worker.Confident in training colleagues, andconfident in liaising with customers.Desirable:Trained QMSauditor.Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry degree.Full, clean UKDriving Licence.ERP experience (eg.
