CK Group are recruiting for a part-time Accountant, to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Huntingdon, on a permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client provides resources to the pre-clinical research market.

Location and working hours:

This role is located at our client's site in Huntingdon. It will be three days a week 09:00 - 14:30, hybrid working options can be discussed.

Accountant Role:

Your main duties will be:

Continued development and implementation of all financial and accounting functions for the UK sites.
Planning and coordinating financial information working closely with the European Finance director.
Providing reporting and financial information to the UK Senior manager and department Managers of the UK sites.
Undertake all aspects of the UK financial management, including providing accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
Our client is also willing to support the successful candidate in gaining their ACCA qualifications if only part qualified.
Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have

Association of chartered certified accountants (ACCA) qualification desirable but part qualified will be considered.
Extensive experience of overall combined accounting and financial experience.
Experience using Computer software systems to support the development of software structure and financial information reporting.
Thorough knowledge and experience in emergency management and risk planning.
Exceptional knowledge of Financial UK standards and procedures.
Desirable: ideally experience within the pharmaceutical industry but open to other industries.
