Job Title:Account Executive

Location:Remote UK

Work Status:Independent Contractor (6 month rolling)


Role Overview:

As an Account Executive, you will manage the full sales cycle for a patient recruitment technology solution, primarily targeting the academic research market. Your focus will be on prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales quotasconsistently.
  • Develop deep knowledge of theclinical research domain, including study phases, designs, stakeholder roles, data standards, and regulatory requirements (domestic and international).
  • Understand how the recruitment solution fits within the broader clinical research ecosystem and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Become an expert in thepatient recruitment market in the UK.
  • Identify and qualify ideal prospective customers, understanding their challenges in patient recruitment.
  • Map accounts and stakeholders, tailoring the sales process to their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, leveraging subject matter experts to enhance sales efforts.
  • Clearly communicate the value of the solution, helping prospects see how it solves their problems.
  • Demonstrate the software hands-on to prospective customers.
  • Stay updated on product roadmap and new feature releases.
  • Maintain excellent organization and time management by:
  • Following up promptly with leads and opportunities
  • Keeping CRM records accurate and current
  • Regularly prospecting to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to generate leads.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
