Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Transformation Change Manager for a contract role.


ROLE: Transformation Change Manager


LENGTH: 18 Months


LOCATION: Remote - UK based


PAY: depending on experience


This company focuses on the creation and commercialisation of top-tier pharmaceutical products and is undergoing significant business transformation.


Key Responsibilities

Change Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to manage change effectively, promoting employee engagement and reducing resistance.
  • Collaborate with programme leadership to embed change activities within broader transformation frameworks.
  • Carry out impact assessments to gauge how proposed changes affect people, processes, systems, and structures.

Process Improvement & Operational Change

  • Partner with operational leads to define and communicate process changes.
  • Support the integration and sustainability of new processes post-implementation through continuous improvement initiatives.

Digital Transformation Support

  • Work alongside IT and digital teams to drive adoption of new systems and tools.
  • Plan and deliver user engagement strategies, including training and support to facilitate digital change.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with user adoption and technology implementation.

People, Culture & Engagement

  • Build support networks by identifying and empowering internal change agents.
  • Lead internal communication efforts to foster transparency and trust throughout the change journey.
  • Provide coaching, learning support, and guidance to enhance change readiness across all teams.

Information & Data Enablement

  • Guide changes in data usage, governance, and system access in line with new operational practices.
  • Help teams leverage new reporting tools and systems to support decision-making.
  • Align data strategies with business transformation efforts.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, PROSCI, Kotter).
  • Experience delivering change in complex or multi-layered organisations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate change readiness and adoption.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in change, transformation, or organisational development.
  • Track record of managing full lifecycle change projects within major transformation programmes.

Preferred

  • Involvement in ERP, CRM, or major tech-driven transformation projects.
  • Background in business process improvement or organisational design.
  • Familiarity with methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Professional change management certification (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP).
