Role Summary
The Supply Planner role will be responsible for material purchasing and supply planning for Autolus manufacturing facilities.
He/She will be responsible for generating stock requirements based on demand and scenario supply plans built by themselves ad the wider business.
They will also be responsible for issuing purchase orders to our suppliers to assure sufficient raw material stock for uninterrupted production across both clinical and commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for running materials requirements planning (MRP) process to assure suitable stock levels for clinical manufacturing. Aligning with agreed safety stock levels and raw material budget.
- Maintain inventory policies at manufacturing sites and third party warehouses in conjunction with planning, manufacturing operations and commercial teams. Including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities and projects. Expediting overdue orders and working with suppliers where required.
- Managing material forecasts and communicating with suppliers to assure stock availability for future demand.
- Partners with Finance to ensure maintenance of compliance with Autolus Procure to Pay policies and procedures. Quickly and systematically resolving invoice queries with suppliersband finance to assure continuity.
- Partners with Strategic Sourcing and Quality to facilitate sourcing of new materials that may be required.
- Accountable to lead resolution of supply continuity issues for the sites of responsibility, escalating to stakeholders where required.
- Preparation and submission of stock orders with 3PLs, to replenish stock holding in manufacturing sites.
- Working with 3PL Project Managers on a weekly basis to manage materials/ suppliers queries, ensuring materials are available for shipment and use in manufacturing when required.
- Responsible for running Raw Material KPIs and presenting in monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
- Lead monthly forecast review meetings with Production and Quality Control , working cross functionally to resolve forecast accuracy issue.

Experience
- 3+ years of experience within supply planning, inventory management, or scheduling within biologics or FMCG industries.
Skills/Specialist knowledge
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple supply challenges, communicating with business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform in a command-and-control role under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
- Strong conflict resolution, collaboration, data-processing and problem-solving skills.
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, including business process metrics and measures linked to business KPIs.
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across different stakeholders (Finance, Manufacturing, Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory)
- MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- ERP systems, SAP or Oracle or Advanced Planning software
