Role: Senior QC Microbiologist

Shift: 4 on 4 off rotating, 12-hour days (weekend working is essential)

Gencell Recruitment Services are looking for a Senior QC Microbiologist to work on a new state of the art Pharmaceutical project located in Harwell, Oxfordshire.

Mostly working in grade C & D cleanrooms fully gowned the main duties of this role will be to perform sampling and testing of intermediate and finished products and environmental monitoring of clean manufacturing areas and water sampling all in accordance with department SOP's. You will also provide microbiological support with investigations to identify root-cause and implementation of appropriate CAPA's in the Quality Management System.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific degree (ideally Microbiology) and have demonstrable experience working in microbiology or biomedical laboratory.

Experience working in Quality Control and Cleanrooms is ideal but not essential.

It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.

Please note: This role may be subject to a satisfactory basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
