A rare opportunity for a Service Engineer to join a global market leading manufacturer of end of line robotic packaging machinery used in the food and pharmaceutical markets. There is a great package on offer and is a company where people stay for a long time.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £50,000
 
BENEFITS:

LOCATION: Home based and ideally living with 1.5 hours of Birmingham, but you will be covering the whole UK.
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Birmingham, Nottingham, Coventry, Stoke, Northampton, Leicester
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer - packaging machinery, robotic systems - food, pharmaceutical
 
This is a classic Field Service Engineer role, where you will be spending 6 nights per month staying away from home on average, and covering 1 weekend in 4.
 
The work that you are expected to undertake is a mixture of repairs, upgrades and installations.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer - packaging machinery, robotic systems - food, pharmaceutical
 
· You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer with hands on knowledge of packaging machinery used in the food and / or pharmaceutical markets.
· Any specific experience of robotics systems would be advantageous.
· You MUST be a qualified Electrical / Electronic Engineer with hands on mechanical engineering experience and ideally specific experience working with siemens PLC`s.
