Service Engineer – Pharma / Medical

Location: Dublin | Travel: ~10% (Regional & occasional training trips to Germany)

Join a leading pharmaceutical machinery company as a Service Engineer, where you'll play a hands-on role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-precision equipment. Your work will directly support machine performance, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction, all within regulated, cleanroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and support pharmaceutical machinery on-site

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance, calibration, upgrades, and repairs

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely recovery

  • Deliver customer training and long-term technical support

  • Analyse production needs and suggest improvements

  • Maintain compliance with pharmaceutical documentation and validation standards

    What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years’ experience with special-purpose machinery (pharma machinery or similar)

  • Background working with syringe and vial equipment is a plus

  • Mechanical or electrical qualification (degree, diploma, or technical apprenticeship)

  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in international teams

    Additional Info:

  • Approx. 10% travel required (mainly regional)

  • Training in Germany 2–3 times per year

  • Cleanroom experience is desirable
