Benefits

Market leading salary Excellent benefits Opportunities for personal progression and development

We're looking for an electrophysiology specialist to join our client's team and play a central role in developing and advancing their electrophysiology-based product workflows. This is a rare opportunity to lead the scientific development of electrophysiology solutions from early-stage exploration through to commercially ready products.

You'll own the end-to-end design of electrophysiology experimental programmes - from data acquisition and analysis to integration into our broader platform - ensuring our solutions are robust, reproducible, and scalable.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design, execution, and optimisation of electrophysiology workflows, covering end-to-end experimental design, data acquisition, and analysis pipelines
  • Translate feasibility data into validated, platform-ready methodologies with clearly defined success criteria
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges, driving systematic improvements in performance and reliability
  • Manage and mentor scientists within the team, providing technical leadership and day-to-day line management
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, software, and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of electrophysiology workflows into the wider platform
  • Maintain rigorous documentation standards and contribute to structured quality processes

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in electrophysiology methodologies, including experimental design, data acquisition, and analysis
  • A track record of optimising and troubleshooting complex biological workflows in a commercial or industrial environment
  • Experience translating experimental concepts into robust, scalable solutions
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing scientists and engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Comfort working with data analysis tools - proficiency in Python or similar computational tools is a plus, particularly for workflow automation and data interpretation

This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to see their electrophysiology expertise become the foundation of a commercial product used at scale.

In addition to incredibly challenging and rewarding work in a highly collaborative environment, our client is offering a market leading salary plus excellent benefits and extremely exciting opportunities for personal progression and development.
