Deputy Phlebotomy Manager

CK Group are recruiting for a Occupational Health Nurse, to join a leading biopharmaceutical company, based at their site in Wrexham, on a hybrid basis. This role is part-time (2.5 days per week), and on a contract basis for 3 months (inside IR35).

 
Salary:

PAYE £24.62 per hour.

Occupational Health Nurse Role:

  • Help in the provision of occupational health (OH) services to the client.
  • will lead a dedicated and focused performance Swot team for 3 months to improve performance of a sterile fill and finish (isolator) facility.
  • Ensure full site compliance and conducting all health surveillance medicals/health assessments, to include: audiometry, spirometry, skin, lone worker, keystone vision screening, night worker and musculoskeletal assessments and FLT medicals.
  • Develop and implement workplace health and safety programs, whilst monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of these programs.
  • Manage a caseload providing specialist clinical advice on work related health issues.

 
Your Background:

  • A Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) qualification in adult nursing.
  • Current registration with the NMC and evidence of revalidation date.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in occupational health AFTER obtaining the diploma or degree in Occupational Health Nursing (preferred).
  • A working knowledge of work-related stress and anxiety and how to identify those most at risk.
  • Previous participation in health promotion campaigns.
