Job Description

This is not for everyone. As a Molecular Biologist in a VC-backed early stage startup, you will be working on a first-of-its-kind SynBio platform technology. There are mountains to climb and the company is attempting to succeed where countless others have failed. You must be the kind of person that is comfortable with high-risk. On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve designing and conducting your own laboratory projects as part of a team led by the Principal Scientist. You will develop a pipeline of novel patentable engineered strains of fast-growing cyanobacteria. You will design cloning strategies and conduct both in silico and wet lab work to see cloning projects end-to-end and engineer strains for the de novo biosynthesis of high value recombinant proteins.
