Manufacturing Technician, £26,000 - £28,000, Abingdon, Oxfordshire

• £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience + pension + 25 days holiday

• Full-time, permanent position.

• Manufacturing role within a growing medical device company

Are you a hands-on Manufacturing, Production Technician, Assembly Technician or Development Technician with experience in a clean, regulated manufacturing environment?

Your background as a Manufacturing Technician:

• Experience working with small components – ideally in medical, electronics, or precision manufacturing

• Able to follow detailed written instructions and complete accurate production records

• Confident working under a microscope or with intricate components

• A methodical approach – reliable, process-driven, and comfortable working to high quality standards

• Any experience with ISO 13485, GMP, or GLP is beneficial but not essential

• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.

Manufacturing Technician responsibilities:

• Assemble medical devices to precise specifications, following SOPs

• Carry out detailed production tasks under a microscope where required

• Record data clearly and accurately during manufacturing and product testing

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring equipment is cleaned, calibrated and ready for use

• Support product development by building prototypes and performing performance testing

• Assist with technical support for suppliers and internal teams

• Contribute to documentation, including work instructions and process records.

This Manufacturing Technician job is commutable from Abingdon, Witney, Didcot, Wantage, Oxford, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
