About the Company

Founded in 2004, Pearson Whiffin is a recruitment consultancy with a reputation for providing an outstanding level of customer service. It’s a reputation we are proud of and committed to maintaining. We continue to build relationships based on trust, honesty and recruitment expertise that meets the staffing needs of our existing and future clients across London and the South East.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a self-motivated Recruitment Consultant with a proven track record in recruitment or sales, with an interest or experience in working within a technical field, to join an established and successful team, based at our Head Office in Maidstone. This position will be taking over a HOT DESK with clients and jobs from day one! You will be working with Manufacturing, Engineering, Pharmaceutical and Scientific organisations nationally supporting their recruitment processes end to end, so any knowledge of these fields is a distinct advantage, through experience or education.

Responsibilities

  • Building your desk through business development activities of new and lapsed clients, both over the phone and in person
  • Attending networking events and exhibitions
  • Account management of existing accounts
  • Sourcing candidates through a range of resourcing techniques
  • Building great relationships with your candidate base: carrying out face to face registrations
  • Working collaboratively as a team
  • Covering for other consultants when required
  • Offering the highest standards of customer service to clients, candidates and internally to your team
  • All associated administration including writing engaging adverts and processing timesheets for temporary placements where necessary
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Benefits Include

  • A competitive basic salary, which will be reviewed for good performance
  • A generous commission package
  • Further bonuses both quarterly and annually
  • A fun, friendly flexible working environment in Maidstone, with free on-site parking!
  • Hybrid working
  • Subsidized gym membership after successful completion of your probationary period
