Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Laboratory Technician to work with our client - A leading dairy produce manufacturer in Telford.

This full-time role offers days and afternoons on a 4 on 4 off rotating rota.

The hours of work are:

  • 6am to 6pm
  • 12pm to 12am

    The rate of pay is £12.72 per hour.

    Your Time at Work

    As a Laboratory Technician, your duties would be as follows:

  • General laboratory duties including cleaning, preparing reagents, cleaning glassware
  • Taking samples in from process, production, and warehouse and adding results to databases ready for testing
  • Rotate stock in the control temperature room
  • Ensure External laboratory Samples are collected and booked according to the schedule
  • Assuring accurate and complete records of work done, and all other appropriate laboratory information and results are maintained.
  • Adhere to all legal and company standards & procedures with reference to health & safety at work
  • Report records, hazards, accidents and potential accidents

    Our Perfect Worker

    Our ideal Laboratory Technician will have a good understanding of English, both verbal and written. You will have good computer skills and be able to take basic instruction and supervision from the site technical team or Team Leaders.

    Microbiologist experience is necessary for this position.
