A GMP Cleaner vacancy has arisen in our fast-growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team.

LOCATION: West of Scotland Science Park, 1 Kelvin Walkway, Glasgow G20 0SP

JOB TITLE: GMP Cleaner

JOB TYPE: Part Time

HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Wednesday 5.00pm to 9.00pm, Thursday – Friday 5.00pm to 7:00pm

PAY: £13.46 per hour

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for two enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our friendly team working in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied.

Primary Responsibilities - Cleaning of ceilings, walls, floors and surfaces including vents as required to keep a high audit standard at all times.

Duties to include:

Produce GDP Compliant reports and documentation

Cleaning in the GMP (sterile environment), administration areas (offices & toilets)

Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed

Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs

Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to GMP Cleaning Supervisor

Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders

Attend training sessions appertaining to post.

Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Coordinator/Team Leaders

Liaise on a daily basis with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.

All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined

Essential

Previous cleaning experience

Must have a good level of written and spoken English

General good health

Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day

Prepared to wear full uniform at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures

Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP

Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office

Flexible, regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required

Desirable but not essential

Experience within a similar industry

Team worker with a flexible approach

Knowledge of COSHH

An understanding of GMP and quality systems

Good communication skills

Machinery skills
