Cleanroom Operative

Location: Redhill, Surrey
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am - 2:30pm

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an entry-level Cleanroom Operative to support production activities within a controlled environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for product packing, quality control, and maintaining compliance with quality regulations and guidelines.

This is a hands-on, office-based role, reporting to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming materials.

Cut and pack product strips and associated components.

Assemble and prepare product kits for shipping.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with quality and safety standards.

Conduct stock checks and maintain accurate production and inventory records.

Adhere to all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental procedures.

Communicate effectively with management and team members.

Contribute to process improvements and updates when required.

Skills and Attributes

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Reliable, diligent, and able to complete tasks efficiently.

Excellent organisational skills with a proactive "can-do" attitude.

Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Resilient, adaptable, and open to change.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience working in accordance with set procedures or quality standards.

Previous experience in a cleanroom or controlled environment is advantageous but not essential.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical microbiology is desirable but not required.

A BSc in a Biological Science (e.g., Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science) is desirable but not essential.
