Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst to join a well established pharmaceutical company, manufacturing medicinal products. This role is based at their site in Gosmore, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control and stability testing of raw materials, bulk, and finished products using HPLC, GC, and wet chemical techniques.

  • Perform manual and automated assays in compliance with GMP, ensuring accuracy and proper operation of analytical equipment.

  • Collect, process, and report data using software such as Chromeleon, LIMS, Excel, and Word.

  • Support overall laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and general duties like solvent disposal.

    Your Background:

  • Degree in a chemistry-related discipline.

  • 1 year of analytical testing experience, ideally in a GMP environment.

  • Experience with HPLC and GC techniques.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel; experience with Chromatography Data Systems and LIMS is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and self-motivation.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and managers.

  • Competence in collecting, processing, and reporting data using relevant software.
