Job Title: Fabricator/ Welder

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MANUAL MILLING/TURNING MACHINERY to be considered for this position
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £38,000-£40,000

Hours: 40 Hours (7am-3pm/8am-4pm)

About Us:
My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Fabricator/ Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in manual milling, turning, and MIG & Stick welding, particularly with stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual milling and turning to produce high-precision parts such as bushes, drive shafts, and other custom components.
Carry out MIG and Stick welding processes, particularly working with stainless steel.
Fabricate, cut, and assemble metal parts and structures in line with project specifications.
Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout all tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during fabrication.
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment, machines, and work areas.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Requirements:

Ideally you will be a time served engineer
Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder with a focus on MIG and Stick welding.
Proficiency in manual milling and turning, particularly for fabricating parts like bushes and drive shafts.
Solid experience working with stainless steel and other metal materials.
In-depth knowledge of fabrication tools, machines, and equipment.
Ability to produce high-quality, precision parts with attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
