Situated in the heart of a market town, the role is based at a state-of-the-art, RCVS Accredited Hospital, equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical tools. You will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team, ensuring you have the guidance and mentorship needed to thrive. The hospital environment provides a rich caseload, perfect for those with an interest in medicine, diagnostic imaging, or emergency critical care. If you are considering gaining a certificate in any of these areas, this role will give you invaluable experience and support.


The position is full-time, with a 40-hour workweek spread over four days. While primarily based at the hospital, there may be occasional consulting shifts at one of the nearby branches, adding variety to your work routine.


The Veterinary Hospital is a hub of excellence, not just for its patients but also for its team members. The practice boasts a friendly and collaborative team of 13 Day Vets, 3 Night Vets, 18 Day Nurses, 3 Night Nurses, 3 Kennel Assistants, and 2 Lab Technicians, all committed to delivering outstanding care. The supportive environment extends beyond work, with a focus on colleague health and wellbeing, ensuring a balanced and fulfilling professional life.


Based in a charming market town in Buckinghamshire, offers a delightful living experience with its rich history, cultural attractions like the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, and proximity to the scenic Chiltern Hills. Excellent travel links make it easy to reach London in under an hour by train.


The role comes with an attractive salary of £38,000 – £42,000 per annum, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including 6.6 weeks of paid holiday, a £1750 CPD allowance, health plan contributions, RCVS membership, VDS cover, enhanced family leave, discounted veterinary fees, and much more.
