As a Program Execution Lead, you will work closely withthe science team to manage priority projects, such as the "Goldenuse-cases" within data42, a leading data analytics platform forNovartis research and development. You will be a key member of theoperations team, establishing best practices for impactful usecases. Your responsibilities include overseeing, coordinating, andmonitoring activities to generate valuable business insights. Thisrole will also encompass extensive stakeholder management,facilitating collaborations within the company and driving projectsaimed at serving a wide customer base within Novartis. As a leaderwithin data42, you will be required to contribute to the continuousevolution of the data42 team by being an enthusiastic, cooperativeand collaborative team player as well as a mentor to juniormembers. About the Role Responsibilities: - Partnering withthe science delivery team to ensure operational management ofpriority projects, such as “Golden use-cases” within data42 - anindustry-leading data analytics platform for Novartis research anddevelopment. - Be a critical member of an operations team buildingexpertise to codify repeatable best practices related to achievingthese highly impactful use cases. - Providing project oversightincluding, coordination and monitoring of key activities performedby data42 teams and business stakeholders to identify, ingest,unify, transform and analyze data to generate valuable businessinsights in a documented and reproducible way. - Collaborating veryclosely with the scientific lead accountable for the disease areaof the project. - Fully responsible for successful projectdelivery, monitoring and tracking, managing the projects fromstartup to completion. - Planning and organizing the project.Setting priorities, managing risks for the project, and providingstatus reports to management. - Ensuring quality standardsincluding documentation, reusability and continuous improvements ofdeliverables for future projects (templates) with adherence todata42 governance. - Leading teams of diverse backgrounds toachieve a common project goal. - Ensuring consistent link betweenall platform teams – operations, data, and technology. - Creatingtransparency, surfacing bottlenecks, and communicating learnings toother teams and team members. Requirements: - Degree in a relevantdiscipline or equivalent experience in a relevant field. - At least10 years of professional experience in project/program managementin a dynamic and complex environment, including experience workingwith technology, data engineering and data science teams. - 5+years life science or healthcare experience. - 3+ years ofcross-/multi-functional leadership experience with demonstratedcapability to build relationships and successfully communicate withbusiness leaders and team members. - Solid toolkit knowledge forproduct leadership that includes an understanding of Agile and Leanmethodologies, and OKRs. - Medical knowledge to understand the keyscientific question & challenge business owners for in-depthand hypothesis validation. - Deep understanding of users andstate-of-the-art technology options. - Knowledge of Generative AIand Large Language Models (LLM). - Proficiency in English (written& oral). - A Master’s degree in business administration. - Drugdiscovery and/or development experience. - Experience of deliverythrough Agile and/or Lean methodologies. - Experience working oninnovation, startups or digital/tech.
