The role we’re hiring for is a Trainee/Assistant Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team based in the Midlands area (Wolverhampton, Cannock, Bloxwich, Wednesfield). This role will see you working alongside, in partnership, with an experienced Engineer who will guide and mentor you on your career journey.  A proven background or interest in plumbing would be advantageous but what is more important is your willingness to learn, your positive work ethic and eagerness to develop into a trusted team member.  

What you receive for joining us:

We’re looking to offer a salary starting at £26,000 to £28,000 per annum. In addition, we offer a company pension and healthcare, accrued hours scheme, financial loyalty bonus, working 40hrs per week Monday to Friday (shift work) and 33 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays.  Overtime is available at weekends too.  

 Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

Assisting with cleaning and disinfection of shower heads
Assisting with descaling & internal inspections of water heaters
Assisting with cleaning & disinfections of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks and cooling towers 
Assisting with remedial works 

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

Experience to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and technical ability
A positive attitude & enthusiasm about the company and the job role
The ability to work as part of a team.  A Full UK driving license is required
Capable of physical work, lifting, carrying and climbing.   Flexibility with hours, location. Some works require out of hours working or overnight stays. Overtime and sustenance will apply where applicable
