Tendering Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Location: ABERDEEN

We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.

To support the Tender and Business Development teams in all business development and tendering activities including interfacing with other departments in the drive to secure new business in wider market areas as part of Bilfinger growth strategy. This is a role for maternity cover.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare effective proposals and presentations for business opportunities
  • Assist in the compilation of RFI's and tenders
  • Tender design, formatting, referencing and proofing
  • Ensure final tender submissions are accurate, complete, and meet deadlines
  • Assist in marketing activities that promote the Bilfinger Salamis profile
  • Attend any events related to the role
  • Support the business development efforts on servicers, new products and technologies
  • Research client and market information in support of key client pursuit plans



EXperience & Qualifications

  • Have the ability to build thorough knowledge of technology/technical aspects and client requirements relating to Bilfinger capabilities and differentiators.
  • Have the ability to organise everything concerned with the business development, tenders to the client and project management into operation.
  • Have excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Have good leadership/negotiation and engagement skills to encourage those involved with each stage in the process.
  • Possess a creative way of thinking.
  • Have the ability to focus on specific goals
  • Experience in fast paced work environment Excellent organisational ability
  • Advanced Microsoft Office ( Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Self-starter and team player Relationship builder Commercial awareness Attention to detail with quality outputs Ability to work under pressure and to deadline Excellent communication skills ( both oral and written
  • Relevant experience in related activity, technical knowledge and service delivery with clients
  • Microsoft Project ( basic Graphic design (basic) Qualified to degree level
