Polytec are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist in Chemistry for our client. You will be responsible for a large area stretching from Northern Scotland to Mid Wales including Northern Ireland. Ideally you will be based fairly central to this within the Scottish Border region (Newcastle to Falkirk).
Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining profitable sales within your territory
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle
  • Maintain and develop relationships by structured site visits and communications to current and potential customers
  • Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations and training
  • CRM Management
  • Organise and attend onsite mini-exhibitions and symposiums
    Requirements:
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research and Chemical sectors
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with products in process and organic chemistry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM
  • Full UK driving license.
