Full product and sales training provided for non-industry applicants THE ROLE: As the Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling a range of specialist diagnostic products across the UK into NHS and private pathology laboratories. These products are used in the diagnosis and monitoring of fungal infections and other immune-related conditions, with proven clinical relevance and growing demand across the healthcare system. This is a national field-based role, giving you autonomy to develop business and build strong relationships with lab managers, biomedical scientists, and procurement teams. YOUR CAREER: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to break into medical sales with a supportive and innovative organisation. You will receive full training on the products, lab workflow, and clinical application, with ongoing mentoring and the chance to develop a long-term career in technical sales. You'll be part of a tight-knit team with direct access to leadership and the ability to make a real impact. THE PERSON: To be considered for this Technical Sales Specialist role, we are looking for:
A degree in a scientific or healthcare-related subject (e.g. biomedical sciences, immunology, biology, etc.)
Experience working in a pathology or diagnostic laboratory is ideal
No prior sales experience required - just energy, motivation, and a desire to succeed in a commercial role
A confident communicator with good organisation skills and a customer-focused approach
Must have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally

THE PACKAGE FOR TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST:
Basic salary: £35,000 - £42,000
Bonus: 20% OTE
Benefits: laptop, phone, business mileage allowance, company pension scheme
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Location: This is a national role, open to candidates based anywhere in the UK with reasonable access to major transport routes.
