The Headteacher and Governing Body of St Werburghs Catholic Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic motivated and effective Teaching Assistant to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of young people; fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in a supportive faith-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering high quality education.
Assisting individual pupils and small groups with targeted learning activities.
Encourage a strong sense of Catholic values promoting respect kindness and service to others in all aspects of school life.
Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants teachers and parents to support the holistic development of each child.
Helping to prepare learning materials and classroom displays.
Supervising children during playtime and lunchtime duties.
Supporting children with additional needs where and when required.

Key Attributes:
A qualified teaching assistant- to at least level 2.
A commitment to upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school.
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
A nurturing approach with the ability to inspire and support students in both their academic and spiritual journeys.
Excellent communication organisation and teamwork skills.
